Moral Issue to Drama

I find that translating a moral issue into a drama could be very challenging.  The first part is to figure out how many characters will be in the drama, which is simple.  However, writing the script for each characters is challenging.  This step requires a lot of time consuming in order to be creative.  When we were trying to translate a moral issue into a drama in the classroom, we had very limited of time.  Thus, it was challenging for us.  We kept on making changes even until we acted out.  The good part about acting out on stage made me realize that it was not as easy as I thought initially.  Hence, we made mistake and learned from it.  It was a good experience for me.

  1. Wow! That is very true David, the creative aspect that it calls for definitely can be a time consuming process if one is putting all their effort in creating it. We had a limited time in the classroom making it more difficult; however, it was still very fun and a good experience as you are saying.

  4. The play writing experience was very difficult. I do agree with you there. Once on stage though it seemed easier for you got to act out your master piece. Did you find the acting in class helpful?
